Okay, a quick update of the progress of the little Goblin character. I’ve got the body proportions and look pretty much as I want them now. Still quite some detailing to add to the body to get it more interesting (and clothing of course) before I start painting him.

Started on a new project tonight. Actually it turned out to be none of the ones I did have in mind earlier. As usual. ;) But the ones I had in mind is still around, and this one I think will be a pretty quick one.
Actually, this will be a piece called Loneliness. But that’s the second stage of this project. It can be a bit hard to imagine where I’m going with this one from this current shot.. but stay tuned and things will reveal themselves along the road. I’ll model, texture and finish this main character first. And then get into part two and model his surroundings and pose him with the appropriate extras and expressions for the piece I have in mind. Okay, let’s see if I have been able to guess the time I need for this one correctly and make this a quick one… or if it drags out.

Okay, this is the last Work in Progress I’m going to post of Julie. I’ve finished all poses I wanna do with her for different pictures. But went back to the mesh and sculpted in some final changes to her face. So next update will be the final series of a couple of images of her in different emotional poses. Stay tuned. Will update the website with those shortly.

Alright, today I’ll finish her! ;) Not much left to do now, and most important of all, I’ve come up with what I think is some intriguing ideas for some other image series, so I must end this one now before my inspiration for the other ones are gone.
Okay, since I last posted an update, I’ve done some work to her face. Worked with her hair, adjusted and sculpted around quite a bit with her eyes, nose, chin and mouth areas. Still some tweaks left, but it shouldn’t take that long, so I’m hoping to do the final shots in reasonable time.

I seem to come up with changes and improvements all the time making the series of images of this character going on forever. I hope to do the final touch tonight though so I can put her on the shelf of finished stuff soon.
I have improved her face quite a bit, what I have left to do is to add some more clear definitions to certain parts to her body so she looks more defined. I’m also thinking of giving her some additional apparel before I start posing her for different shots. Will see about that later tonight.

Alright, getting ready to finish of my latest character. Her name is Julie. I’m doing the last fine tuning of the face. Still have some stuff left to do around her eyes, her hair and nose, but that’s just minor tunings and then I’ll be happy with the head model.

Hard disk crashes and other things aside that got between me and Elysian. I finally got back to work on this piece again tonight.
Have started sculpting out a rough shape of her body to go with the head. Will continue working on her tomorrow again. It’s time for me to call it a night.

Who sleeps? I couldn’t resist coming back to do some more work on this one before I get to bed.
I’ve continued sculpting her head, and it’s getting closer to what I’m aiming for. Still some adjustments and reshaping left to do before I’m completely happy with the face.
